It is our vision to be a hub for the community, to give back in any way we can and support the many local projects that are happening in Studio City, Dubai.

Part of this vision is to partner with local community projects that enhance the lives of the people in and around the areas of – Arabian Ranches, Studio City, Mudon, Damac Hills, Remram, Motor City, Sports City and beyond.

Time for a coffee

THE ARABIAN RANCHES LADIES – AN EXCLUSIVE LADIES CLUB IN DUBAI

The Arabian Ranches Ladies was one of the first community projects at Studio One. Founded 13 years ago by Carol Binbrek, this is a ladies club in Dubai whose members consist of like-minded women taking part in charity events, fund raising, coffee mornings and above all else, supporting each other.

They meet every Tuesday at Larte, Studio One Hotel and have held several events at the restaurant and the hotel including various talks, markets, and festivals and many more. Check out their website here for more details on how to join… you do have to be a lady though!

TEAM ANGELWOLF – A NON PROFIT ORGANISATION BASED IN DUBAI

Team AngelWolf is a non-profit organisation that promotes an inclusive, active life together with People of Determination (people with disabilities). They work with families and individuals of all abilities in a welcoming, connected space, where everyone is welcome and everyone is equal.
Team AngelWolf enjoys the cinema on a monthly basis proving how versatile and inclusive our cinema experiences can be. Get in touch with Nick if you’re looking for ways to give back to the community. His passion for this project is born out of a father’s dedication and love for his ‘pack’. You can’t help but feel uplifted and inspired by their story.

NO JUDGEMENT AND NO LIMITS

BOXICA – FITNESS CENTRE IN DUBAI

A fitness community with no judgement and no limits. Box, kick, ride, lift and sweat your way through the sessions! Boxica is a big supporter of Studio One. Right at our doorstep less than 100 steps away, we have partnered with this Studio City based fitness centre to bring a unique experience to our guests. Alongside this, the whole Boxica community has access to some amazing discounts available in the cinema ON2 and at Larte!

ORIGINAL MIX DJS

Fancy yourself a bit of a DJ? Well don’t wait too long because the kids are taking over! DJ’s as young as 8 years old are taking to the decks and learning the art of becoming world class DJs’! With industry professionals delivering lessons at Studio One ON2 every Sunday, plus the chance to play at some of the most exclusive events in Dubai, OMDJ Kids have taken the industry by Storm! SWIMMING WONDERS – CHILDREN’S SWIMMING LESSONS

Swimming Wonders is a unique water-based program founded by Wonder Woman, Gemma Altarriba in 2012. All lessons are all taught by a highly experienced and committed team of coaches, all qualified and specialised in baby and children swimming, including post-natal, pre-natal and baby massage. Gemma is a regular at Larte, being Italian herself, and the team are always ready to help mums in the community looking for children’s swimming lessons to get their little one to enjoy the wonders of the water. Education to perform

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES WITH THE GEMS METROPOLE SCHOOL

GEMS Metropole School in Motor City is one of the most recent additions to the community projects supported by Studio One and is a great example of how schools and businesses can work together. The students at Metropole have taken part in pizza and pasta making classes at Larte, customer service and hospitality training with the team and our Marketing Manager even opened the Farm shop along with the head boy and girl and the Principal of the school. PURE MINDS ACADEMY

Since 2015, Pure Minds Academy has been committed to empowering children as young as 4 with the skills and knowledge they need to become the innovators and leaders of tomorrow. Through our STEM and life skills programs, we nurture curiosity and encourage exploration, guiding our students on a journey of discovery that prepares them for a bright and successful future.

Our diverse range of programs, including After School sessions, Saturday Robotics classes, and our highly sought-after Winter, Spring, and Summer Camps, have successfully educated over 4,000 bright minds throughout the GCC region. Get in touch today.
